[trumpets sound]
Have you ever jotted down a couple of sentences and thought…that’s it in a nutshell?
Out of nowhere come complete stories that spring forth from what some would laughingly call your brain. By some, I mean someone else. Not me. I never laugh when it comes to brains and who’s got them and who doesn’t. I have a hard enough time deciding at any given point in the day if I’ve left mine somewhere and just forgotten where.
Well, nut, now’s your chance to cast yourself on the mercy of the short story milieu. BlogShorts starts tomorrow.
It’s a challenge that’s a little on the short side.
30 days – 30 stories – 30 words
The idea is to write a blog post in the form of a short story of 30 words or less and post them over the course of one month (or 30 days.)
BlogShorts starts June 1 and ends June 30.
(Participation is at your own risk. blogdramedy is not responsible for heated arguments you may have with complete strangers over why someone would host a 30 word short story challenge. Drinking is encouraged and overeating a given. Comments are welcome but must stay within the 30 word parameter. Finally, there are no prizes associated with this challenge. Your participation is your prize. Don’t lose it.)

I’m doing the side gig of haiku-a-day to support you!
I remember! Like I said…you’re a rebel. I like that.

Crazy. Just crazy.
Yes, it is crazy! An almost impossible feat.
But it’s for fun and if you take advantage of the fact that I left out the TITLE and any CAPTIONS on any photos you may wish to include in the word count…well then. Maybe not so impossible after all.
