For two hours, 12 of the most gorgeous men the women from the cruise ship had ever seen held them captive as each man brought his own unique touch to his drum. Bare-chested and only wearing sarongs, it was obvious that the men really got off on their music.
It was a hot steamy night and the cruise director had instructed them not to wander off but rather find a spot on the sand where they could watch the show as a group.
With the Calypso music throbbing through the air, the women swayed with the beat and under the cover of darkness, one by one, they snuck off for their own private performance with the steel drummers.
Later, back on the ship, they opened a bottle of vodka and shared all. They agreed that banging the drum slowly was an underrated skill.

Can never go wrong with a bottle of voddies.
Or three.
I love vodka and steel drums! Merry Christmas and grats on a satisfying conclusion to BlogFestivus! If I can borrow that vodka I’ll celebrate with a shot heard round the world.
I can so see you in a sarong banging your drum.
By an unanimous decision of me, myself, and I…I proclaim BlogFestivus a keeper. It will be back next year bigger and better. Thanks for being such an important part of my daily routine. I could not have done it without you and the gang.
You created a great image. Is this one of those cougar cruises?
Possibly. I wouldn’t know. You couldn’t pay me enough to get me on one of those cruises…or any kind of cruise. That close to so many other people?
Congrats!!! Well, done for the (almost)fortnight!
Thanks. Right back at ya! It’s been grand.
The next generation – waiting his turn.
The girls in the playground must be all over him to come play in the sandbox with them.
Whoa, steamy!
Also, thanks for instigating this BlogFestivus insanity!
You should always go out with a bang!
You are so welcome! I couldn’t have done it with all of you! Thanks!!!
Well, that really warms up my December!
If it’s cold, I’ll do pretty much anything to bring on the heat. Nothing is beneath me. Except for Karl Urban.
Thanks for instigating this challenge, Blogdramedy. It was great fun – and though it’s now finished, I will continue to look out for new posts from the interesting bunch of people who participated in this challenge
I’m happy you’re happy. And ditto on the interesting (hm…interesting choice of word…I would have gone for totally bizarre) wild bunch we found. Have a merry one!
Ha, I was originally going with ‘weird’ but changed it lest I offend someone
I’ve found it’s hard to offend these people…they ARE weird!
HEY!
I’m perfectly normal. I’m your everyday 200 yr old witch with a pet snake named Killem.
Nice ending Blogdramedy. Some death would have been nice…kidding! I think.
I think we killed enough wildlife and assorted humans for this holiday season.
Vodka – Steel Drums – YES!
What an awesome video that was!
Cheers
Is there a better combo? Possibly. Let’s make it a new year resolution to find out.
