The girl sat in front of her computer; her right index finger over the enter key. Inside her mind a voice started to mutter. She ignored it and watched as her finger inched its way closer to the keyboard.
You don’t want to do that. You’re close. Can’t you feel it?
The girl paused. She could feel something. A force was pushing up against her finger. She pushed against it, harder, determined to have her way.
With only six days to go, she needed the relief.
She forced her finger down. NaNoWriMo be damned, she was going to play Solitaire.
